The Green Island fig is not the easiest member of the fig family to manage. It’s a little fussier about water and light than some of its relatives like -for example the Ginseng fig. But I consider the Green Island Fig to be on of the most attractive. You’ll note that it’s leaves are more rounded than other the Ginseng or the Tiger Bark and certainly mush more so than the Ficus Benjamina- with which most people are familiar.
If you’re willing and able to devote a little more attention to your indoor bonsai and educate yourself on it’s proper care, consider the Green Island Fig.
