This is the schefflera arboricola – most commonly known as the Dwarf Umbrella Tree. It is one of my top choices as the easiest of the indoor bonsai to care for. It doesn’t need a lot of light and will forgive the odd watering mistake and it’s not hugely attractive to a lot of different insects – although in a very dry environment spider mites might have a go at it.
